This is only a fragment of a larger art project I am building. Frankenstein is 200 years old this year and I feel the need to commemorate it.

I still need to add fur, but otherwise, my new Krampus mask is done. I think I may create a full costume and keep this one. 

New Horrors

I have started three new monsters, each will be a little under two feet tall. They are off to a good start and I hope you enjoy them. 

Necromancy and After Effects

I teach visual effects and in our 101 class we are playing with green screen and particle systems. My Halloween flair always shows when this subject comes up.

MerAngler

MerAngler came to me when one of my students asked me to draw a mermaid. I always put a dark spin on anything I draw. The face coming out of her tail is her mate. Female angler fish absorb their mate into themselves when they mate. 

Kurt Barlow
